This 2-day workshop is an introduction to the VR/360˚ filmmaking process. The students learn the basic work flow of the 360˚filmmaking process; from development to distribution or "concept to headset". Both theory and hands-on-training empowers creatives who are passionate about creating impactful VR/360˚ immersive stories. By the end of the workshop production teams will have completed a short VR/360˚ film.

Chris Bedyk is a Cinematographer, Immersive Filmmaker and Founder of Perspective Films. Over the past 20 years he has worked on every type of TV / Film production as a Camera Operator. Since 2013, he has developed numerous 360˚camera rigs and has created 100’s of experiences for major studios, brands, and professional sports teams such as Disney, Netflix, Facebook, Mercedes, and Vancouver Canucks. His travel series VR Wonders of The World, was the first of its kind. The production utilized 360˚ cameras and motion control technology Chris developed. The series has global distribution with various vendors and has received numerous festival accolades.

Suggested Pre-Requisites...
This workshop is designed for those who have some previous video camera and/or editing skills. However, students without experience have taken this workshop before and loved it. The workshop is about VR/360˚ production and is not designed to teach you the nuances of editing on Adobe Premiere.
